Who we are

Since its establishment in 1998, SEA CONTAINER SERVICES has been one of the most important port service providers in the Port of Constanța, proving to be a reliable partner for all those involved in intermodal transport.
Along with the other companies, Sea Container Shipping & Logistics and Container Clearance Services, which are part of our SEA CONTAINER GROUP, we offer a range of integrated services in the field of port operations, which constantly adapt to the requests of our partners.
Taking advantage of a young and dynamic team, SCS successfully manages the increasingly complex challenges of intermodal transport, striving in each project to find the best solutions for operating according to the quality standards of customers

The range of services offered by SEA CONTAINER GROUP includes:

• Unloading/loading operations of maritime and river vessels

• Storage of general goods, bulk and unitized, in warehouses and on uncovered platforms, under customs warehouse regime and under non-stop video surveillance and guard

Equipment

The SCS terminal has the advantage of one of the most extensive and complex inventories of modern and specialized machinery and equipment for handling the majority of types of goods in the Port of Constanța.

• 2 Liebherr mobile cranes, each with a capacity of 104 tons;
• 3 reach stackers, capacity 46 tons;
• 3 Sennebogen goods handling machines;
• 30 forklifts, with capacities between 2 and 32 tons;
• 4 front loaders;
• Car transporters;
• Tug master machines;
• Mobile platforms for loading goods into containers;
• Special devices for operating various types of goods (equipment, metallurgical products, bulk goods, bagged and palletized goods etc).

Storage

SCS provides storage spaces for most types of goods that transit our terminal. In order to be able to cover the increasingly large demand, investments have been made in expanding the storage possibilities in the Port of Constanța Sud/Agigea, currently reaching a total of 175,000 square meters of uncovered platform and 15,000 square meters in warehouses and covered spaces.

The storage facilities enjoy a customs warehouse regime and are under 24/7 video surveillance and guard.

Operating berths

The unloading/loading operations of maritime and river vessels take place in two operational berths:

Berth 119 – Length 308 meters, draft 13.5 meters
Berth 120 – Length 205 meters, draft 13.5 meters, equipped with RO-RO ramp.

The activity of Sea Container Service is certified by Bureau Veritas, according to ISO 9001:2015 Standard for Quality Management System.
