S.C. UMEX S.A. is one of the most important Port Operators from Constanta Port, incorporated in 1978 in order to mainly serve Romanian exports of industrial machinery, and operates oversize commodities.
Today, the company is 100% privately owned, and its activities were improved and diversified in order to correlate the current economic context, and remains the most experimented Port Operator of heavy industrial machinery from Constanta Port.
The UMEX terminal amounts to 140,000 square meters, out of which 20,000 square meters covered storage area; the operational piers operated by the Terminal are: 38, 39, 40, 44, RoRo 3.
